    It seems that it is about 1 hr from S Pasadena. And further than some other possible trails. It definitely sounds good though and I'd probably go there over Azusa. Did you check out the trails on that link?

    On that website it said those trails are open year-around. Whats up with that?

    haha nm reread and saw u said they have been closed since the fires.

    So it's about the same distance from S Pasadena, just in the other direction. How does it compare to Rowhers? Better/worst?

    Azusa canyon is closed because of the water level being high. but you might want to check Acorausa.com. YOu can roll to cleghorn on the 15 or gorman like someone mentioned.

    i think Cleghorn is your best bet... it has challenging sections for 4x4 and leads to a scenic overview of Silverwood Lake...

    Ya so I'm thinking Cleghorn will be the place to go. It seems better than Rowhers Flat because it looks like it has more structure and not so flat. I checked out some threads on here and some vids on Cleghorn and it looks sweet.

    And I've heard of Cleghorn before - sounds like a popular spot.
