Government Canyon?! That is HIGHLY illegal. That is a state park! It would be impossible to offroad in there. You must be talking about the place that backs up to Govt. Canyon. That is also private property, therefore illegal. How about you go to a legal place such as Clines Ranch or Hidden Falls next time?

Free country doesn't mean offroad and drive on anyones private property you like. I'd like to hear you say, "well uh its a free country right?" to the land owner or game warden that catches you trespassing on somebody's property. Most likely you will be threatened or given a big ticket. It's people like this that give offroaders a bad name, by tearing up other people's property. Now in states like Colorado there is public land which makes it LEGAL to go offroading in certain places. Sadly, in Texas there is no public land that is designated for offroad use.
