Wondering u could help a former member out ! I have 2nd gen 06 prerunner I just ordered my 4 inch maxtrac spindle. Gonna run the eibachs and billy 5100 also. My question is will my spindle fit with my 285/75/16 on 16x8 rims. Have no knowledge when it comes to offset but the website I ordered my rims from says my rims have a backspacing of 4 inches and offset -12 mm bore diameter is 4.25 ? Cant seem to find an answer on here so made a thread to help others also! Would greatly appreciate the help!:D

Back space is the distance from the hub mounting surface of the wheel to the outer edge of the wheel (where the tire bead would be).

The offset can be positive, 0, or negative. It is referring to the mounting surface of the wheel (where it mounts to the hub if the vehicle). If that surface is directly in the center of the wheel, then there is 0 offset.

If the mounting surface on the wheel is towards the front or face of the wheel, then that is positive offset. This would be our factory wheels.

If the mounting surface is towards the back of the wheel, then it's negative offset. Negative offset wheels have that deep dish look.

So your -12 offset wheels will have a very deep look to them. It will push your tires out past your fenders I would think.

Bore diameter is the size of the hole in the center of the wheel where it fits onto the axle hub.
