I have stock SR rims and I want to add bigger tires

I was told I need spacers if I want to use my stock rims

Should I get spacers or save up and get negative offset rims?

Also how negative can I go that wont effect performance?

Spacers are perfectly safe and functional when installed correctly.
Spidertraxx is solid, I would avoid ebay knock-off spacers. The hardware maybe less than grade 8 which is a minimum.
And stay 1.25 or below for wheel bearing sake.
But, haters will always hate on spacers. Dont listen.

What size of offroad tires can I get away with using stock SR rims?

265//75/16, 265/70/16, there is also the tall skinny option. None of these would require spacers. But if you want spacers, go with Bora, or Spider-Man. Don't cheap out.
