Hey how is everyone doing today I’m Ryan I recently bought a 2020 Tacoma off-road premium, I got a question I would like to get volk te37x 16x8 because It’s close to the stock rim size, I would just like to know what is the best offset to get without rubbing and lifting

    I’m thinking
265/70R16 with a bit of aggressive thread

When the thread matches the font...

Here's the thing, I've got 265/70 r17s with a -12 offset on a stock height right now (actually about 1/2 inch lower than stock due to a winch). I was able to heatgun the plastic and trim the plastic lip at the bottom and eliminate 98% of the rub. I think I can get rid of the rest with a second go of the heat gun. With a smaller diameter tire (like 265/70 r16) I think my 9 inch wide -12 wheels would have cleared and if they didn't 5 minutes with a heat gun would have solved it. Basically if you stay close to stock you won't have problems. I think if you try for something like -34 offset you start to get into the realm of real work to remove rub.

I have not had any rubbing issues with a -6 offset and 265/75r16s, but it’s close.

Most go up one size 265/75/16 and experience no rub. You should be fine with this size, that's if you want a larger tire.
