Planning on getting 17x9 ballistic jesters on my 2007 Tacoma TRD Off road and lifting 3" but am hearing different things from tire shops and users on here. Is a -12 offset good to use with 285/70R17's? Users here say yes, tire shop and dealer say no.

Right on man. Look up a guy on here called "sandjunkie". He has a -12 offset with the rims I'm getting and it looks pretty sick!
