I am trying to figure out what offset I need to help prevent rubbing issues. I am trying to decide how far I should push the wheel out? I want it to obviously clear the uca but don't want it too far out beyond the fender. I am putting this on a 2016 tacoma. I am jumping from the stock 17x7.5 to a 17x9 wheel my choices of offset are -12 to +10 I plan on a 285/70r17 tire and a 3 " lift ( although from what I read I won't get a full 3" on tge 16's) I found a neat website called willtheyfit.com and looks like plus 10 with 9" will have the wheel sitting 1 mm further from strut. Is that my goal to keep same distance from strut as stock or push it further out

If I go to zero offset it pushes inner wheel out just under a half inch but the outer tire jumps to nearly 2" out as opposed to tge 1 1/2" on the plus 10 offset
