    If I was towing a vehicle for a friend I would probably make sure it's strapped to the trailer securely. Saying "the strap job is not mine" probably wouldn't get you too far if there had been an accident.

    Also, suggesting that the other members here had their vehicles bought for them by their parents isn't going to help you make friends.

    As was mentioned above, money invested doesn't equal knowledge.

    And, out of curiosity, exactly how much towing capacity do the bump stops add?

    Hey guys!
    I’m trying to do this exact same thing tonight! I bought the $81,000 Tacoma featured here recently. I’ve never driven a car before. (I’m only 14). Also going to be making this trip with 3 of my cousins - they weigh 300 lbs a person.

    any recommendations? Should be good right - I have bump stops.

    also forgot to add my 89 year old grandfather is getting a day pass from the nursing home and his seeing eye dog will be assisting him while he straps everything down for me!
