I sort of a pro at this, ive have had to put 3 down in 10 years. My black lab had cancer in her leg so at his advice we took it off her front leg , big mistake i will never prolong any suffering of any kind again . My choclate lab i put down in july she was 13 yrs old sister to the black darling that tore my soul out when i put her to sleep. You will know when it is time because there habits and actions will change you will see it in their eyes. To me dogs are greater than people hence dog spelled backwards god!!!! , makes you wonder how they can hold all that unconditional love. Im sorry for your pain but your friend will be made whole and waiting for you when god calls.

LOL, until she can grow a thumb, the tools stay mine, BUT she does think the Boat is hers. As for Christmas, she has the biggest stocking out of all of us! She LOVES opening it up, grabbing all her new toys, and playing with them! :D I'll post some pics of her this year opening her stocking. :)

    She's gone but not forgotten.
I'd move on your street just to videotape you sitting on your front porch with a beer, a laptop computer, and a football helmet on.

That might be worth some AFV money!

Sorry to hear that :( My bud just put his dog to sleep yesterday after fighting something similiar for a while. He's obviously pretty bummed. On the bright side, I've had a couple childhood dogs who lived quite a while with tumors/cancer. Really sucks when they leave us though. I just put a sock and some ointment on my dogs foot today because I noticed it was inflamed. Shes not so happy :D Walking around like she just stepped in dog poo lol.

Good luck and hope all works out.

    Hey Chris,

My mom just went through a cancer thing with her dog. She found this really great place online that helped her not only with treating her dog, but helping her get donations and matching donations as well for the cancer treatment. The name of the site is The Magic Bullet Fund and the doctor that helped my mom was Dr. Alice Villalobos. Here is the link. I hope all goes well.
