Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to the forum. I replace the Coolant Bypass Pipe on my 2008 Tacoma 2.7L, I took the liberty of removing the Intake Manifold to better get to the area. Everything went well with the replacement but once I finished buttoning everything back together I discovered that I had this electrical connector not connected to anything as well as this Manifold port. I took everything back apart to see where the connector goes or a tube for the Manifold but I found nothing. I drove the truck and about 20 mins in the Check Engine Light came on. AutoZone ran a diagnostic and came up with Evaporative Emission System Incorrect PurgIMG_20191229_165622066.jpgIMG_20191229_165616263.jpg IMG_20191229_165518744.jpg IMG_20191229_165511213.jpg e Flow. Help would be very appreciated.

Are you missing a vacuum line? The last picture, in the middle.

You may need to cut the wire tie off and see where your plug will reach. Unless it's a factory wire tie which it doesn't appear to be. Hoping somebody with a 2.7 can help you out. Mine's a 4.0.

Looks like you are missing the vacuum line that goes between the intake plenum and that evap switching valve. hence the evap code.

And like stated, that zip tie does not look factory, looks like you might of put it there to keep that connector out of the way. cut it off so that connector can move its full range, then find the plug thats within the radius of the wire thats empty n plug her in.

See red circles. Just guessing that the one on right needs to be hooked up. The one on left is where plug might go. Like I said, I'm guessing but trying to help.

That electric plug looks to be the one that goes under the manifold to the vacuum switching valve.

This is why I take a picture or multiple pictures from different angles before I take anything apart even if I've done it before but it's not common.

This is exactly why I take lots of pictures before and during the process for anything that is even slightly complicated.

The open vac port looks like the EVAP purge valve. It pulls intermittent engine vacuum on the fuel vapors in the tank in order to combust them efficiently. There should be a hose coming off the firewall within close vicinity to the fuel lines that will connect to that port. It will be a low pressure ~1psi for EVAP and will have a pinch type clamp on it.

Your open electrical connector looks like it should connect to a pressure sensor of some sort, possibly goes to a idle up pressure sensor on the power steering high pressure line at the P/S pump.
