Hey guys, New to TW, First post, unfortunately....

Currently I have a 2016 Tacoma OR with factory bilstein's and no lift, I've just bought some stealth ray 10's 16x8, and need help finding some tires ... currently, the truck is more of a daily highway driver, but looking to begin finding some off road trails/beaches this coming year..

I do live in the Bay Area in Northern California, and make some occasional trips up to lake Tahoe during the winter... I've basically narrowed it down to two tires....

    1) Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70R16
    2) Falken wildpeak at3w

I have looked into the duratracs, however, I think it's a little bit too much for what I'm trying to get out of my tires... Any information would be helpful...

Also, hopefully second post will include pics of the Tacoma with ray 10's burnt bronze...

Both are great options. The Ridge Grapplers are a bit more aggressive but everyone who has them says they ride well and aren't very loud on the highway. Personally, if you aren't gonna be doing a ton of off roading and are gonna be doing a lot of highway driving, I'd get the Falkens.

I just got the Falkens and am very impressed! Look much better in person I think. Can’t beat the price, I paid $490’for 4 265/70 17s

    @ChadsPride
These were my first choice. However. Emailed nitto and they told me that with my set up wouldn’t be able to especially with no lift. And unfortunately, girlfriend (who’s 4’12”) doesn’t want it any higher. :(

@goose443 damn! Was that price online?? I am leaning towards the Falkens in truth. And from doing research tire thread life is pretty good too.

I hated Terra Grapplers when I once owned them. Bad both on and offroad lol

I've run Duratracs, KO2's, Toyo AT3's, Cooper Discoverer AT's and Falken Wildpeaks.

I prefer the Falkens and would buy again. The Duratracs lasted forever but I thought their wet traction was terrible.

I got them from simpletire.com, no tax (at least in Texas) and free shipping! Got them installed at my local Toyota dealer for $60! Super happy with how it turned out7E120915-F415-4146-9742-6E59E06EB609.jpg

They did have an additional $25 off, but you can still get a set for $515.

The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W is a good choice. We get a lot of solid feedback from our customers running this tire.

Here is a link to the online price at Discount Tire Direct:

I was set on the Falkens....hard to beat the value - price and quality are all there. I was pretty set on those till I feel in love with the Cooper STT PROs.

OP if ur anywhere on the fence and looking for another option - check out the Coopers. But if I were sticking with a A/T tire the Falkens would have been my choice and a good one.

Man those wheels look sexy, just got a set of the burnt bronze Ray 10's and hoping the color combo of quicksand and those will look alright, was pretty much on the fence between the matte blacks and the bronze... here's to hoping I don't regret it...
