Are you talking about an ONG shotgun or a bayonet? If shotgun, we’re going to need to see pics!

I hope so. They had 2 M5a1 bayonets for $40. Figured I could use one for the Garand at that price. The ones they sent were slathered in cosmoline, but looked brand new once I cleaned it off.

I was so tempted to get a two pack of those as well for my Garands. I wish they had scabbards though even if the price was higher.

Scabbard would have been nice. They are manufactured by Milpar Col if you decide to get them. I just wanted one so will probably flip the other on eBay to get my money back.

    Thanks.

Started life as a folder, traded the folding stock for the wood stock.

Came away with a free ONG fixed stock shotgun and $60 in my pocket.

Not sure I’d have done that but $300 for a folding stock is a pretty fair price. Those sling swivels on the folder are pretty rare and worth a good bit on their own, like in the $100 range.

The folding stock is one of the worst stocks ever designed in the history of stock design. Ever. In. History.

I'm not a sentimental guy, and not really a collector for collection's sake, so I wouldn't own something so retarded. I only purchased it to resell the stock, and get a shotgun in virtually unused condition. The folding stock was so uncomfortable and dumb, that no one carried the folding stock shotguns, so they're all virtually unused. That being the case, I'd rather have a really nice shotgun for free, that I'd shoot, than a really nice shotgun worth $1500, that I'd never shoot, and was out $239 for.

I agree with both of you. Wanted the folder cause it looked badass and was cheap. Sucks it turned out to be so collectable cause now it's doomed to stay in the safe. Probably gonna get one of the Benelli M1 police trade ins now

Mine was never issued either. First thing I did was a complete strip to clean out the dried grease. Absolutely the best $239 I ever spent. Saw one sell for $1,400 on GB. Wish I'd bought one of each.

Mine was missing the button the locks the stock open and closed. I emailed SOS with a pic of the missing parts and asked if they maybe had some loose parts in one of the shipping crates. Got an email back saying they had everything except the C clip and had shipped them out to me. Got the c clip at Ace for 23 cents.

Numrich carried a butstock pad for the folders. It's just a little piece of rubber that peals and sticks...their probably 40 years old and the stick was gone. Removed what was left and put some Gorilla double side tape on it. Prevents the barrel getting nicked up.

    Before cleaning it up.
