I'd say $200 to install front struts and rear leafs is a damn good deal! I don't mind doing it myself as I learned a lot about the truck in a short amount of time, but I may have to check in to that. Thanks.

    woah.

"According to a report, the initial accident was caused when a vehicle hit a deer. A second car hit the deer carcass, then went across the median and into a tanker truck. That impact knocked out the car’s engine, causing a third car, carrying a mother and her three children, to hit the engine. The tanker, carrying hydrochloric acid, overturned, and one of its tires rolled into the eastbound lanes, hitting a fourth car."

Sorcery and witchcraft! This thread is a conspiracy.

That's not a bad price at all, wonder how much they'd charge to do mine. Do you have UCAs getting installed or just shocks coils n leaf packs?

LOL I'm going full out cheap bastard. Spacers x 4 and an alignment. Please withhold judgement.

    And 285 tires.

Nothing wrong with spacers typically. Only problems really come if your not using any extended shocks.

If you use factory struts up front, you get a weird angle and they bind and can snap. With aftermarket coilovers (most) the top hat moves so the coilovers stay straight

Let me get this straight. You bought an Xterra, gave it an OME lift. You sell the Xterra and buy a 4runner, and get a spacer lift.

Meh, I figure if I like the look and height maybe as budget allows I will get a similar height suspension lift down the road. This will do nicely for the time being - or maybe forever, who knows. I'm no suspension snob. I am a poseur though and looks are most of what I'm going for.

The 2.5" / 1.5" leveling lift is Toytec's best seller for the 4R- yeah, I'm sure it is price related - but still, all those consumers can't be wrong. For my sort of light duty use it will be fine. I did my research in advance and I've got no concerns.

Yeah fuckmook, I had like 24,000 in the Xterra so it makes it easier to afford / justify a 1,000 lift. I have 33,000 in the 4R and I have zero deniro left over.

    See?

    LOL
