Im in Miamisburg. Ive passed u on 75 before but i was in my car.

 

Can't make it out to Haspin this weekend, but will be open to other trips in the future. I usually go to Badlands a few times a year, and down to the Red River gorge as well. Hit me up some time.

 

I haven't been to the gorge in a while, pre-kid. That was for rafting. Would love to go back.

 

Do you do off road stuff at RRG? I have been there a lot on the bike on camping trips but really only have done the dirt roads in the NF.

I used to climb a lot years ago, but now I take the boys camping and hiking, as well as off roading. I know a fair amount of the roads down there to offroad. Some are easy, some are insane. There is so much area down there, I definitely don't know it all, but I could keep you busy for a day or two.

Well that would be a nice 2 day trip like what we've been knocking around on the thread, no?... only like 4 hours down, you could run us around down there... camp in the NF... eat some mother fucking Miguels pizza.... bang some dirty hippie chicks at the climber's campground... that sounds like a good plan to me!

 

Plus ALE8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that shit!

Oh, and we could ride the ferry over the Ohio River at Higginsport / Augusta. That'd be cool as hell to load up all the trucks on there.

Honestly I'd rather do something like that than SOR - nothing against SOR but I love to "explore" shit. Those pay to ride places are like a fishbowl, you just swim around inside.

 

I like all of this. I'm in.

I agree. I know SOR like its home. It's fun for first timers and stuff, but it's very light most of the time. Nothing that would make you shit your pants or bust a nut to. Plus, camping with inch of drunk hicks isn't amusing. State/national forests are more calming and fun for me.

I use SOR as my test area like once in a while. But, Gavin might be butt hurt if we don't go

 

I scrumped this dirty hippie chick (aka my wife) last time I was at Miguel's. And I ate this fucking delicious pizza.
