Did some snow wheeling today. Crushed my drivers door on a tree pretty good. I need to cage this damn thing already

So this is probably a dumb question but what do you do with the Jeep in that circumstance? Just get a few guys and push it back on its wheels? Would there be engine damage from oil starvation when it goes over?

just try and find the safest way to roll it back over. it had a winch on it so we wrapped it around the tree and hooked it to the top of the front bumper and pulled itself back over. engine damage can occur if oil gets above the pistons which will cause your engine to hydro lock. you can prevent this by pulling all your spark plugs and turn the engine over which would blow out any fluid in the cylinders. a majority of the time you just get it back upright and let all the fluids drain back down where they are supposed to be then fire it up. it did leak a bit of tranny fluid but was able to limp it back to camp.

This is way off topic but... do any of you guys reload bullets? I have been experimenting with different load prescription's for my .308. I've found the Hornady sst bullet's shoot extremely well out of my rifle. The best group I got was sub 1/2 inch (one hole) at 100 yards. Idk if any of you guys have a 308 and also reload ammo but if you do try this one out.

    165 grain Hornady sst bullets
    45.2 grain RL-15 powder
    CCI large rifle primer
    Hornady and federal brass.

Feel free to try it out if you reload or know somebody who does.

On the Red River Gorge, I could get there late Friday night and do most of the day Saturday. Both boys have hockey practice Friday after school, and Grady has a game early Sunday. Sorry I can't do Sunday, but I could definitely show you guys around on Saturday.

Found a new road today, it's like 2 miles from my house. How I've overlooked this for 5 years is beyond me, but it is pretty nice. On par with Turkey Ridge (from the Danville rides).

Baldwin Road, between SR 151 and Lone Pine Rd, Harrison Co.

Came to about $3000 in damage. Some pricks were trying to steal my inflator I assume. It was the only thing in the truck
