If it had it had wire rims and curb finders... Umm, it wasn't me. No, wasn't mine. Mine stays parked most of time unless I'm out bashing it.

:notsure:Hmmm dunno must be a stranger then. I would have introduced myself to the owner but didn't notice the rig until he was pulling out of his parking space.

Glad to have you in the group, welcome amigo!

Thanks! There's a few FJs around Columbus that have some work done to them, but it's not a real tight community. The FJ guys in Cleveland are more active and Chicago FJ Cruisers group is crazy tight. A couple of the guys own a shop and are getting ready to roll out their Taco in addition to their FJ, Wrangler, Cherokee... Way too many toys!

Yes, that's the plan but with the wife in the hospital last month right before the Danville trip, I've got over $6k in unexpected hospital bills I have to pay for now so funds are real tight at the moment. Hoping to scrounge enough together for the CB and the trip.

Wal Mart has a pretty liberal return policy.

That's the spirit. You could always get wheel bearings from Walmart and return them after the trip.

That's as much or more than a new one. $40 for that and a mag antenna would be okay.

I have a second CB wired up to a cig lighter, and a magnet antenna... and I'm not really opposed to loaning it out... but I'm kind of like "this is the cheapest mod you guys could have on your trucks and you're too frugal / lazy / inconsiderate of the other guys you be wheeling with to get one"... so... I mean, you can buy a budget radio and antenna for $60-$80.

I feel like now you're making fun of me.

I personally wouldn't do something like that, but if the store policy allows it and they don't seem to care, then take advantage of it.

I'm okay with returning certain items...

I bought an iron pipe from Lowe's to use as a lever for putting my front coils in, that will be getting returned.

I bought a can of silicone spray from Auto Zone, first attempt at using it the spray nozzle broke in such a way that it has a shitty spray pattern and makes a mess. I'll use it for a couple small jobs then return it.

Anything more than that I think I'd have a problem with on principle. Although, to be fair I have no objection to people taking advantage of corporate policies for personal gain. Fuck corporations.

I did that with an RTT. I was in the GB but needed one for Rock Therapy so I went to Summit, bought the TJM then returned it when I got back.
