A guy I work with is looking to part with a Pelican rifle case from his time spent in the Army. From what I gather these are pretty good cases. They're watertight and aren't affected by pressure drop from flight transport. My coworker is willing to throw in the padlocks he has for the lockable hasps. He says the foam inserts are in great condition, same story with the outside of the case. He assures me the case never got beat up or shot at as he was a cook

It's a pretty sizable rifle case. Was used to hold his standard issue M4, will hold AR15/M16 no problem. I think you can buy foam inserts to use the case for specific firearms. If this interests anyone, make an offer and I'll pass it along. He also has a handgun case that's up for grabs, not sure what brand but it isn't anything fancy.

 

My buddy is building an AR right now. Whats the cost on the case and locks?

 

Well, I don't know the exact model but I'm guessing that it is the M4 designed case.. it may not be though. Neither myself nor my coworker now the actual value of the case.. I tried searching online and found this on "thepelicancaseoutlet":




The seller is just looking for someone to throw him an offer then he'll decide if he wants to part with it for that much. He doesn't know what is a fair price to ask for.

 

I assume this was issued to him, ergo, any prospective buyer has already paid for it once.

 

Man those things are expensive
