It's a reference to early 20s / late teen thugs milling around the hood. As taken from military parlance to note potential threats in an urban zone... like Mogadishu, or Folujia (sp?).

    BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Knowledge bomb!!!!!!!!!

Yeah... since 1996 (sigh). Thank you. Other than the FOP plate I don't really advertise it.

If you want, there will be a cool off road (bike) ride and camp near Laurelville on Oct 3 (that weekend) which I am gonna try to get to. Lots of cool abandoned roads and 2 track. Nothing crazy technical.

Because I have a friend's wedding to go to that weekend (and also so that I don't embarrass you as your incompetent +1) I probably won't make it.

The wedding is the 3rd, not sure that I could make it to hocking hills area any earlier than late afternoon Sunday...

You wouldn't embarass me. This is a casual gatheringof friends not a race. It's a lot of fun plus you could scout the routes for 4WD opportunities. However, the bulk of the riding will be Saturday.

Gotcha. If I have my bike in any shape to ride by then I'll let you know. Don't have a helmet this side of Cali though so I'll need to pick one up as well as some riding gear. Also, I'm cheap enough to only own one helmet at a time so when I MX it's with a roundy:D You've been warned!

I probably have an MX helmet and goggles you can use and a mesh jacket that would fit you (my wife's, you tiny bastard). That would be adequate. I wear MX gear for the dual sports but a lot of guys wear more street oriented stuff.

Hey I may be a bastard but I'm not.. I mean I may be tiny but I'm.. aww fuck it.

You suck, hopefully I can make it to your bum-boy convention. If I'm lucky I'll piss the lucky couple off enough to get un-invited to their wedding and then I'll have the weekend free for MXing:D

    NEED ADVICE

So my brand new taco w about 4k miles is making a weird metal clunk sound when i hit the smallest bump with the wheel turned - pulling in/out of driveway. Its a very quick noise - sounds like some just tapped something metal under the truck w a screwdriver (painting a picture here).

No other noises, even when hitting larger cleveland pot holes. so its odd that it happens on little bumps - but the wheels are turned.

i had it at the dealer a week ago for my FREE oil change and mentioned it to the guy. They "looked at it" and said they saw nothing and that its likely the front end bottoming out! No f'in way am i close to bottoming out. Anyways....its a sporadic noise as it doesn't happen all the time, but its happing more consistently now. i looked and saw nothing abnormal in the front end.

My Chevy banging brother is having a field day with my Clunker Toyota.

    Any Ideas?

    ummm... yes please:)

You'll have to have me down to your neck of the woods to do a ride-along in your "new" truck and I can try on some of your big boy clothes and see if it looks like I'm wearing a dress:rofl:
