Welcome! I'm from Canton, but live in Columbus now. Nice truck! Looks a lot like my '13.

I'll be doing Southington this upcoming October. If I were you, I'd extend those rear lines. Don't know how long those shocks are but I know dakars droop very well

That's wat I was worried about...I've read over and over the the ome shocks would limit the droop...butt never heard anything about the toytecs...I need to find out the part# and get more info on them.

Don't use your shocks ever to limit travel or as a bump stop.. You'll only be hurting them without gaining anything. If you want to limit travel then strap the rear and bump it

Nono I was talking about the Old Man Emu nitrochargers...I've been told the brake lines do not need ext. If u run them with Dakars. But I do understand what Ur saying and I do know that's a big nono too.

Either way I would extend if you plan to move up later. The shocks don't matter. If they stop the travel then that means you are using them as a limiter which destroys the shock. It's up to you but the extra cash is worth it to extend to me. I'm extended front and rear and the front isn't even necessary. Plus you are getting the added factor of durability and extra protection over standard rubber lines

We haven't managed a Southington meet yet. It has, however, been in the works for a while now. Looks like you've joined this thread at the same time many of us are upgrading our suspension. I have a full OME kit to put on and am still trying to figure out if I need to extend my lines and upgrade my bumpstops. As a first gen I have to be wary of advice from some of our second gen brethren:cool:

I won't be in any shape to wheel for quite some time although I would like to get a bunch of us together for some beers n bar food in the next few weeks.

In other news, I've made absolutely no progress with my bike as it will no longer kick. Looks like I'll need to buy new gaskets and seals and open up the crankcase:anonymous:

    Also, I lost $100 today.:pout:

I am very disappointed in myself right now.

Oh well, at least I'm not Greg...:notsure:

If only I'd been warned that to be one of these "drive it till shit breaks then fix it" types, you actually need to know how to fix shit...
