I think the entire property is in/around woods. Mud fest will depend on weather, and seems likely if this rain sticks around. If I get some people to join, I'll write a full report of the types of trails available.

On that note, I don't think this place is regularly set up to maximize our OHVLOPDAOGT'ing experience. Think it's just a dude, with land and some picnic areas, collecting a small fee for people to cut loose.

I've not been there, but youtube videos indicate that there are varying terrains. I guess that also depends on how much rain we get, too.

I just realized I never properly said hello. Hello. I'm Adam. Live in Clintonville. Maybe I will see some of y'all around.

Hey, Adam. Have you tried Gasline in Lore City? I hear they have some good trails there, too. A bit of a drive, but that's what we deal with living in Columbus.

I've never heard of that one either. I'd gladly check it out sometime as it is an hour closer than Southington! If I could wheel somewhat dry technical trails then go watch big mud trucks play that would be an awesome day!

I agree! BTW, just curious, do you own a Tacoma or just the FJ? I don't personally care, but I'm surprised no one has ran you off of this site. I know another user who drives an X-Terra... wtf? LOL

Just the FJ. I just started stalking all the Tacoma people when I lived in VA. The Tidewater thread mainly. We had a Toyota 4x4 group out there so it was a mix of Tacomas and T4Rs...an FJ or two. Dinners, wheeling, and wrench days.

The FJ people I know here only seem to wheel SOR, since most are from CLE. I'm all SOR'd out lol.

Im also curious to see if this guy who just moved in 2 doors down is on here. White 2nd gen DCLB with a ARB w/ a pair of IPFs, Flippac, rear swingout bumper, maybe 3" OME lift, 255 Coopers. All of which looks to have been there a long time. (Ohio rust)

Makes sense to me. I've only had my Tacoma for a couple years so I mainly use it for hunting. Looking forward to getting it out and getting it dirty, but like you, semi-dry trails is ideal for my taste. I'd prefer not to have to climb out a window to hook up a tow rope to pull my dumb ass out of a mud hole.

Thrashing Trails update: Just got off the phone. Looks like they are replacing some pipe lines and are closed until the work is finished. The contractor has estimated a completion date of mid-October, and the trails will then open.

Any other ideas for this weekend?

Just test drove a DCSB TRD Sport manual. It was awesome! Not the one I wanted though. Funny thing right before I went to drive some guy came in ready to buy it. Good for him. I have to special order the exact one for me. Can't decide between auto or manual...

Of course! It was appraised for around 19-20k so I figured I'd just keep it or sell it privately
