Any recommendation on a relatively cheap smaller roof tent?

Few pictures from today, I never was very good at the whole documenting the entire trip with pictures thing...
@MeefZah what's your secret? Stop using a cell phone camera? I'll figure it out one of these days.

    Not really too sure.
Looking at soft shell. Its not something I'd have on my truck permanently. Looking for best bang for my buck. Under $1000 would be ideal but not a deal breaker either

    Haha!

    Fucking Jeeps.

The secret? Take a good camera, a great lens, and then expect that for every great picture you take there will be a hundred shit-ass pics!

    Quantity yields occasional quality.

Tepui has a couple smaller 2 person ones... 950 or so to about 1400. I think they're made in China, but I hear good things about them. I'm looking at some too. Most of everything else I've found has been more expensive.

Hey all, I just moved back from Idaho in December. Bought my 07 while I was out there and had some fun on the rocks and dirt. I grew up in Findlay but always had cars. Looking to get on some trails and dirt like I did out in Idaho but I don't know where to go around here. It'd be cool to get to know some people to camp and do a little wheeling with. I'm in Findlay for now but moving to Perrysburg soon.

Well, anything decent is east and south of cbus. We are looking to get some camping going this summer too. Can't wait to hear about Idaho. I visited Boise, awesome state.

The is a RCI group buy feeler right now. They make LCA and Diff skids.

LCA skids are useless. You'll never hurt your stock arms and if you do then get TC arms.

Diff skid has been known to cause a lot of issues to the differential and even worse if you actually use it as a skid.

Yup, the stock LCAs are plenty strong, and if you ever plan to do crazy shit like me, it's just way better to get aftermarket lowers.

And the diff skid tends to bend and goes into the diff and causes a bunch of issues. I've bashed my diff on all sorts of stuff and haven't have a problem. You're more likely to destroy your shaft than diff.

He only really got stuck once that's not pictured, and I got stuck in the same spot and winched out.
On the hill he's not actually stuck but more of just cant get back on the trail because it was trying to slide him down the side of the steep hill we were on, he said it just kept sliding him off to the side. This was our first time in this spot and it was just extremely wet and sloppy out. I actually had to recover him back on to the trail 3 times on this one hill we were out there for like 6 hours.
