My fridge ran constant for over a week until the battery got so low it couldn't run and the truck still started. But I'm running a marine battery.

So I sold a motorcycle to a guy. He wanted it delivered, so I rode it to his place, and Meredith followed me driving my new 4Runner.

We get to his place and she tells me that she is done with her Prius and wants a 4Runner, too. She was 100% serious. Wouldn't even get out of the driver's seat on the way home.

I don't even know where that came from, because she drove my 2014 4R a lot and never said fucking word one about wanting one.

So we go back to the dealer and I ordered her a 2017 SR5 in super white yesterday.

The salesman was jizzing in his pants, sold me two brand new 4Runners in 7 days.

    Kewl.

Those look so much better than Bestop. I saw a guy with a Bestop the other day on a 1st gen and it had to have been as old as the truck, windows all yellow and nasty looking.

I was running mine with no window at all in the back, just unzipped and left in the garage. Made visibility a lot better, kept the window from getting scratched up, etc. It does allow dirt into the bed but if you aren't hauling anything that needs to be protected I think it's better to go no window! Then for my camping trip I reinstalled it and cleaned the bed up.

Are you going to camp in it? I was petty gung ho on mine and on the Tacoma until I camped the first time in it a few weeks ago, and then I realized it was not what I was hoping it would be. That was actually the triggering event to make me get a 4R again, because I enjoyed camping in the back of that thing and I ended up hating it in the ST. Hopefully YMMV if you plan on camping out of it.
