Well I was in Uhrichsville 5 years ago...

 

It's all crappy northern Ohio.

Dude I'm actually looking forward to snow, and changing seasons, and thunderstorms, and spring rains...and no earthquakes.

 

We just had rolling thunderstorms today, actually.

 

We had an earthquake!

Last one was like 2 weeks ago, just a little shaker

 

Nice, I grew up on East Debby Ln right by there. Apple hill orchards is awesome and you'll be real close by. I live in Cincinnati now, but my dad still lives up that way off Lexington Ave so I'm up there at least once a year.

 

Ha we looked at a house on Debby but I wanted some land!

 

I was looking at travel times to other cities for prospective jobs and I was laughing. I remember when we lived in Ohio and it seemed inconvenient to drive an hour to go shopping or something. I had a job once where I commuted from Mount Gilead to Columbus (an hour) and I wanted to kill myself for it being so far away.

Having been in the remoteness of extreme northern California now I am like: "shit, I could drive Mansfield to Akron every day and it would be nothing!!!". I literally just drove 6 hours one way to the second-closest Toyota dealer the other day on the spur of the moment to look at a truck they just listed. Distances and drive times are so major here my parameters have all been reset! I've been to LA a few times similarly spur of the moment and that's the mileage equivalent of driving from Cleveland to Atlanta, LOL...

 

That's kinda what I did yesterday. I confused Mansfield for Massillon. I'm only 25 minutes from Massillon and thought Mansfield was also that close.

 

Sounds like a lot of us in here are pretty close together then. I'm about 20 minutes from Massillon as well.

I am too...maybe we can reinvigorate this Ohio chapter! I just went down to Red River Gorge area last weekend and did some offroading at Hollerwood Offroad Park. Was a good time and got me excited for some more daytrips and group rides!
