    Awesome! You have a 2M?

    Yes, bring that mutha fukka!!

Let's shoot for Martinsburg at 0930. There's a Dollar General on US 62 on the west (south) end of town that should have enough parking.

There's one gas station there if you need to fill up; just a bit east of the DG at the traffic light.

I will edit the above post to reflect the meeting time and location.

Also be aware this isn't going to be some epic off road mud fest. It's country lanes, and a few 4hi sections of maybe 5 miles in total, and some easy creek crossings; but mostly just a pleasant drive in the woods. I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking it's going to be something it's not. There are two roads that I can guide you to if you want to try them (Stone Quarry and Bats Nest), but unless something changes when I pre-run the route on my bike on Saturday I don't think they are really stock-ish truck friendly. You could make it through but there would be a high cost. We can also play around in some mud near Cavallo if you guys are feeling it... I generally don't care for mud but I'll take some pics while you little piggies wallow!

I also haven't really strung together an interesting route from Martinsburg to Danville after we do the stuff near Martinsburg, which consists of a creek crossing, 2 covered bridges, and some gravel roads. So it may be a monotonous 15 miles north to get to the next fun section.

    In the mail.

however you are not making out to be anything it isn’t. I was there on that last ride. It was great. I did run stone quarry a few months back. Was a tad sketchy with a bunch of fallen/ cut logs but was fine solo at full PSI. I’d try it again.

    looking forward to it.

Count me in. I'll be bringing my boy.

Used to live 20 minutes from Martinsburg, so it will be nice to get back down there.

It's just a little battery powered Dewalt, but it works well enough for downed limbs. I'll throw the axe in as well just in case.

Looks like this is the one?

Good to see you are back from the Wild West!

I wish I could come out this weekend but the wife and I have some other plans this weekend. I went out with you last time in my old truck and it was a blast! I have a new, more outfitted truck and will make sure that I catch the next outing.

Im still planning on going. Heading out of north Columbus around 8. Gotta stop for gas.

I believe @MeefZah was doing a recon of the route today. Hopefully all is well.

Yes, still on!! Recon was productive. Stone Quarry is a no go unless you have large cojones and 30" of ground clearance. Other roads are good. Walhonding River is crossable although there's a few poorly placed boulders getting down to it. Some mud. 85 miles and about 55 of that is dirt / gravel, about 4 miles of slightly more challenging stuff which might require 4hi. I think we'll have fun!

I have winch, traction boards, shovel, axe, first aid.

    See you at 0930!

Yes. There may be some tight areas resulting in minor scuffing on brush, and a few ruts that will challenge your wheel placement, but a stock truck can do it.

Good little trip with Sean, Adam, Chaz today. Thanks guys. Good weather, clear roads, no dust (for me!). Some fun little challenges and sporty high speed gravel.
