Anyone looking for a deal on a winch? I've got a NITB, 12,500 lb. winch with synthetic line with wired and wireless remotes. I'll throw in the 2" receiver mount and 12V extension cord so you can mount and use it from the back of your truck. Nothing wrong with it, it's just the wrong bolt pattern and a little too big for the bumper I'm looking at.

Hey all, I've just moved to the Akron area from Oregon and am hoping to join for the next meetup anyone is having. Would be cool to get out and explore some of the state. Looking forward to meeting some of my fellow TacomaWorld members!

 

Im in Akron. Not a ton of wheeling options here. But i have some gpx files of places that are "close enough" that i have tet to explore.

 

I figured that there's not much right in the area, living in OR spoiled me. That said, I have no issues driving out a few hours away to get my offroad fix!

 

You'll love Cuyahoga National Forest and the Cleveland Metro parks. Definitely go to the Westside Market once. The Akron Zoo is a nice smaller zoo, very easy to do in a day without being exhausted afterwards.

I'm about 30 minutes south of you on the edge of Tuscarawas county.

 

We can always do an area Tacos and Coffee meet.

That's definitely an odd combination. Both of those things consumed within an hour of each other may not end well...

I've already started exploring those. Been here a month so far. It's a fun area.

 

We moved to T County in May. Can't wait to explore more ourselves!

 

Anyone up for a little Xmas night wheeling in the Tar hollow region? Tired of being the only taco in the land of Jeeps and SxS’s… we’d be sticking to unmaintained roads but they’re pretty technical, these ARE NOT forest roads, they’re straight up trails!!

Ive wheeled in southern ohio with jeeps before. They were idiots, going way too fast and taking us down some trails none of us should have been on. So, i like to scout ahead and at least gather information before commiting.
