Seems like they would give someone new joints for free...or even reimburse you for the old if you bought new version:

Yeah, they sent me whole new UCAs that I'm planning to put on so now I have 2 sets. I figure I'd try and get a few dollars out of the recalled ones to save some money and get someone a pretty good discount on UCAs. Not trying to rip anyone off.

Last post Jan 29... you guys suck.

If any cheap bastard needs some settings tweaked:

I bought the Carista dongle and one month of service to change a few settings and now I no longer need it. If anyone wants to meet up and borrow it to set up your Toyota product prior to the subscription expiring on 5-1-24, PM me. I may not see a reply on here since I don't have a Taco anymore and am only here in passing.

Located in Lexington, Ohio...driving to Polaris or Easton (Columbus) about once a week. Generally available nights and weekends.

The Carista website has a list of compatible vehicles and also the various things it can customize on each of them, so look that over to see if what you want to do is doable.

For the GX I set the windows and sunroof to open with the remote, turned off the seat belt warnings, turned off the remote chirps, changed some fob button settings, some other minor shit I already forgot. For the GX / 4Runner and possibly the Taco if you have an older current gen or prior you can do a bunch of stuff with lights / timers / locks and so forth using Carista that the newer models have settings for in the head unit, so it's actually more versatile for the slightly older trucks who don't get all the settings available to them in the head unit.

Anyone in central Ohio have Techstream and want to spend 5 min changing a setting for me? I am about to lose my mind with this fucking steering wheel that retracts every time I turn the truck off. No way to set it to 'off' without TS, apparently. (2020 GX460)

Edit, disregard, dealer gonna do it free

Is anyone in need of a 2nd Gen Tacoma OEM driveshaft assembly? This is for a DCSB. Everything on it is good, but the carrier bearing needs replaced. The u-joints only have about 10k miles on them, but you may as well replace the center u-joint when you replace the carrier bearing. Driveshaft has had regular maintenance, but is due for some grease. No dents, perfectly balanced, just not needed anymore.

Asking $200. I live in Worthington, but willing to drive up to 30 miles.
