I'm not stating it isn't a rebranded Mobil1. I'm just stating from VOAs that has been reported that it has a high amount of moly in it.

It definitely supports the most successful multi level marketing business model in the automotive lubrication industry! So it has that going for it.

Yep, they claim its a full synthetic, but in reality these manufactures are selling you a semi synthetic because its got enough of the allowable amounts of a synthetic blended into it to be called that. 100% synthetic is just that.

Moly is good for some stuff like bearing surfaces, and limiting engine warranties, but not great for others like ring seating, blow by, and poorer engine performance when breaking in a new engine.

"The difference between the two terms is that 100% Synthetic refers to an oil that is made solely from synthetic base oils and chemical additives, while Full Synthetic may contain a blend of synthetic and conventional/mineral oils"

It's crazy what they can get away with in marketing. It's kinda like the whole "Genuine Leather" thing.

OP hasn't been seen since Sunday afternoon. These threads are just the same half dozen guys arguing over the same half dozen oil brands.

IMG_8412.jpgAnother great example and one I’m actually very pleasantly surprised by knowing the 3.8 Pennstar engines with high mileage in Jeeps. Here is that analysis using Amsoil Signature Series 0w30 on a 200k mile engine

i've used Valvoline premium oil in my 03 4runner before and it did good job. Planning same for my Taco, can't wait until it hits 5K

Same winter protection with a little higher summer temperature protection. Peace of mind tbh bc where I live it’s extremely humid in summer time and 95+ degrees out. I probably sacrifice a little fuel (1mpg or so) savings in doing so but 0w30 seems smoother to me. Probably just placebo effect but I have to say I’m very happy with my oil analysis for both vehicles using 0w30 sig series. The Jeep calls for 5w20 and it’s looking great with 0w30. I was very surprised by the comments on the Jeep. I expected the Tacoma to be in great shape so wasn’t surprised by it
