Oil buildup on side of engine near dipstick.

    Thanks. Looks like the timing chain cover. Guess I’m gonna have to devote a weekend to it. When it gets worse that is.

    I run royal purple and it seems to b on the thin side. Ill do some research on the conditioners of Mobil 1 vs. RP. I used Mobil 1 for years in my SS Camaro till it had a tragic death

    So went in for a closer view and found the inspection plate to be the culprit. At least for now. Idk if this is normal but there seams to be a blob of factory gasket maker in the area of the infamous leak zone. Here’s a couple of pics if anyone cares.
