oil cap gasket?

Hey all. I am looking at my oil fill cap on my 2003 pre runner and it doesn't have a gasket. is this normal? also out of curiosity I checked the power steering fill cap and it doesn't either. I appreciate any info. couldn't find anything in my searches. Thanks in advance!

 

The gaskets might be dry and shrunk

 

Mine doesn’t seem to have them either. I recall looking into it a while back and I think I found that they didn’t have gaskets in the first place. Could be wrong though

 

There should be one. I replaced mine for the heck of it when I did my valve cover gasket job.

Found in the Brakes & Suspension - Vane Pump & Reservoir (Power Steering) section

 

I think I have one of these NIB (sleeve?) when I lost my original. but the replacement came with one

 

They both should have a seal. Only the Oil Cap has a separate one.
