Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
I called it normal 11 months ago. Blew a head gasket Friday. Watch for bubbles in your overflow coolant. You can hear them when you shut the truck off. Maybe it's nothing, but keep an eye on it.

It’s moisture in the crankcase....get an oil catch can attach it to your PVC system and your cap will look like this...my truck has 30k miles catch can was installed at 1300 miles. Some will say it doesn’t work and that’s okay cuz I’ll stick with the can because I can.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Same with me. I drive 500 miles a week (400 of those on the highway at 70+ mph) and am religious about oil change intervals. Use Mobil 1. Get the same gunk in the winter. Don't see it in the summer.

But you have an '05. Head gaskets are a known issue for that year

I do get some froth crap but very little.
I use good Dino oil and Toyota filters every 3k religiously.
I run Mobil gas from the same place that is very busy.
Had a buddy who’s wife’s Jetta had so much of this build up in the oil pan it plugged the screen to the pump.
100% dealer maintained they told him it was caused by idle time in the cold.
This seems to be when I notice mine also.
I have a remote starter and use it. I also take my breaks at work in my truck yes I’m a smoker.
Recently did a valve cover gasket and it was clean inside but it was also warm out.
I’ve also bore scoped inside the pan and am pleased with what I see at over 170k!

Very few short trips in my mind 25 miles one way to work.
