Oil cap specialty tool?

Does the oil cap have a indent on it for a specialty tool? Not around my truck and a smoking deal on Synthetic oil right now ... looking on the internet it says I need a tool and a draining hose lol

 

You can get the tool from AutoZone, and etc. You don't need a hose. The Toyota filter comes with a plastic drain connector for the filter.

 

Oil cap? Are you referring to the fill cap? If so, no tool needed. If referring to the canister filter, yes you need a 'tool'. Motivx makes a decent one. You do not need to drain the canister filter before removal. Some do, I don't. I refer you to this thread-
