When I take my truck to the dealership (yes I know, stealership.. but it is actually fairly cheap) to get an oil change they try to get me to have the rear end flushed and all this other stuff - total cost of about $600. I've talked to several people that have never had that done and their trucks run fine for several hundred thousand miles. What do you guys think?

I think if you plan to keep the truck for a long time, just follow the maintenance schedule in your manual and you'll be fine.
