    I agree. I have the maintenance plan and when I take it for service, the plan only covers every 10k for oil change. Which to me, is bullshi*. I have to pay the 60 bucks to have it switched out @ 5k but my truck runs better and it’s piece of mind knowing I have clean oil.

    Just bought a 13 Taco 6 cyl w 98K miles - very stock. I plan to split the difference and change at 7,500 miles synthetic.

    I seen the platinum (not Ultra) in 5qt at my local Walmart. Other than $3 price difference between the Ultra Platinum what other difference is there?

    I wonder this about the different levels of oil Castrol sells to. Could it be mostly marketing as they all meet Toyota specs in the recommended viscosities.
