Yesterday I performed my first oil change on my 2014 Tacoma. Drained the oil out, replaced the filter, I added a little over 4 quarts of oil until the dipstick was reading about half way between the 2 dots. I then started the car and pulled out of the garage to park on the street. Car maybe ran for 1 minute. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

About 10 minutes later I went out to reset the MAINT RECQ light and when I turned the key to ON there were 4 lights that stayed on after the initial period where all the indicator lights were on. The CEL, A/T Oil Temp, Battery, and Oil pressure light were on. I then tried to start the car but it would only turn over and not start. I pulled the dip stick and noticed the oil level had dropped to the lowest dot on the dip stick. I'm assuming some of the oil was pulled into the new filter so I added the rest of the 5 quart bottle so the dip stick show a level about 3/4 to the full side.

I subsequently left the car overnight and again tried this morning. All 4 indicator lights are still on and the car will turn over but won't start. I have an OBD scanner on order so I can read the codes but wanted to see if this sounds familiar to anyone.

The oil levels are normal. You will always get a little higher reading until you start the engine and let it run for a minute to fill the new filter. Always recheck and top off if necessary after letting it run for a minute.

I can't think of a single reason for the oil change to cause the warning lights. Probably just a coincidence.

You should be putting about 6 quarts back in after a drain.

Try disconnecting your battery for a minute and see if that cancels the lights.

Check all the fuses, EVERY ONE regardless of what it’s labeled as then go from there.
Pretty sure the CEL, oil press and battery light are supposed to stay on with KOEO. Not sure about the trans temp.

Make sure correct amount of oil is in,then do post number #5
Make sure you didn't knock one of the wires off the battery when you were taking the filter off.

How many miles on the truck?
    What engine is in it?
When was the battery last replaced and/or health-checked with an automotive battery tester?
Does it have enough gas in the tank?

Ok. Mystery solved. I'm an idiot. Turns out that even though the key you have can turn the ignition and turn over the car, it won't actually start unless you're using a coded key. I was using a backup key that won't enable the ignition system.
