Hey at my place the parking lot has a slight incline. Nothing major just a little rise on the ends. Which way do i want to park for an oil change? Front sitting higher or rear higher? I'm thinking front up cause of bolt the back of pan (i think).

Do you have ramps you could back it onto and level it out? Maybe a friend with a flat driveway? I personally try to do it all on flat ground.

A small slope doesn't matter much.

What, maybe an ounce or two of oil doesn't come out? You'll be fine.

I concur with this statement. Just be safe, chock both wheels.

All of the oil will not drain regardless of it being level or not. There is a slight boss on the inside of the pan for the threads of the drain plug. Plus trapped oil in the engine channels and up around the top of the heads also the large circular depression for the oil pump pickup screen.

I have always disliked that boss. Just never taken the time to grind flush and weld a bung on the out side. Just a pet peeve of mine.

A slight incline is not going to make any difference. See my post above.

Doesn’t matter much. Find the drain hole location.
If in doubt pour a quart through while it’s open.
