Oil Changes... DO IT

60,000 miles, what is that, something along the lines of 3 years or so? Just a little past the old standard 3000 miles/3 months. I had a roommate in college who never checked his oil, ever. Had the car for 2 years and then one day calls because his car "broke down". When I get there and open the hood, the engine was basically melted. The dope drove the oil right out of it and kept going, until finally the engine seized. The plug wires didn't even exist, they'd melted right into the block. Amazing what some people will do!
