I have decided to clean up or swap the OCV to troubleshoot the P0016 code. Anybody has a 2010 V4? Where is that located? near the camsensor?

There is no such thing as a V4. The 2.7 liter 2TR-FE is an Inline 4 Cylinder.

Thanks Jimmy. Not Aware of the in-line four-cylinder until today. Will follow your advice to find the ocv.

Just be carefull pulling the filter out, they are easy to break. Make sure you have a new one in hand before pulling the old one.

Has anyone pulled the Camshaft timing OCV? I just tried to do it. I got the electric plug undone, I got the 10 mm bolt out, I shimmied the OCV out about an inch before the metal housing on the OCV was pushed/rubbed up against the plastic intake manifold. I couldn’t force it out. Any tips other than removing the manifold?

I gotta replace the old plastic coolant bypass hose on the taco anyways, so I might end up just putting off cleaning the OCV until then. It would be way easier.
