I noticed that my truck has some oil visible that looks to be leaking from the bolt on the rear diff. This is visible when you look under the truck from the back. Is this common? Truck has 78500KM/49000Miles
    Thanks guys for any input

Might be time to replace rear diff gasket. Prolly around $5-$10 at local auto parts store depending on your model. Make sure you get some gasket sealer to go with it. Not a hard DIY. Check your manufacturers manual to see which type of oil to get to replace the stuff you drain out.

Would that be covered by the powertrain warranty?

The dealer is going to cover it. Just wondering if this is common especially with that mileage.
