Draining the oil is never messy for me, it is the filter.

Got a Fumoto on mine. Love it.

Also never had much issue with spilling with the stock plug, but this is easier and faster and worth the convenience.

X2 on the filter being the mess maker.

I've got a Fumoto on my 2004 2.7 and so far, I love it. I got to use it for the first time today because i added a little too much oil on the last change. What a dream come true! From what I hear they are foolproof and when you look at the design I'd say "they" are right. I did get the plastic locking device and a rubber cover for the nipple just to make it that more foolproof. Goodbye to hot oil on the hands and the occasional mess. It should be law that these things are on the bottom of oil filters as well. Wouldn't that be nice?.:D

The site was a little confusing as far as parts, what options did you pick and what came with them?

I bought the drain plug and connector hose. I'll look for my receipt and find the numbers
