Getting ready to do the first oil change on my truck and wondering what oil filters you all use. I had read that Pure1 for my old '93 was made by the same company as the Toyota filters for that truck.

    Anyway...what do you all use?

+1. You can get them for cheaper than Fram off of Amazon. Wix or Napa Golds are a good brand too. Stay away from Fram, quite possibly one of the crappiest filters ever made. Check out www.bobistheoilguy.com for plenty of reading on why fram sucks, plus once you see the inside of one, you'll never go back.

FRAM is the worst. Ever see their cut aways? they're worst than Napa's

Our race engine builder told us NEVER use a Fram filter. Good enough for me.
