You have a point, laying on the floor working upside down if you are a little dyslexic like me easy to turn it the wrong way.

Yes, all dealer until now. It finally occurred to me on my Sunday afternoon walk: "Why worry about turning it, why not just destroy it?" I guess that's not just a simple matter of snipping some thin plastic.

Mostly dealer on the tire rotations as well, but I'd kind of taken these over after I got tired of jumping on the end of the lug wrench to make it turn(I weigh around 190 ).

Speaking of lug nuts, I'm guessing the breaker bar is a better bet for my oil filter problem than any kind of impact wrench?

A good night's sleep sometimes helps in these matters. I got up bright and early (for a Satuday) this morning and applied the newly-arrived MotivX wrench. Still wouldn't budge. Then I remembered some remarks from a MotivX review: Basically what I needed to do was swallow my pride, forget about the 225 bench press and 375 deadlift I'd achieved in high school, lie down on my back in those drying oil stains, set my feet against the breaker bar and use my freakin' quads and glutes. Success! I was able to cancel the $400 impact wrench just in time, but I still harbor some idle curiosity about why it wasn't suggested, and whether it might have worked....

What you needed was a cheater bar slid over your breaker bar to give you more leverage. That would have been much easier than using your feet and legs. I would never recommend using an impact wrench on a plastic housing. The good news is you got it off congratulations!
