Hello all...this looks like an great forum on the Tacoma. My first question concerns oil filters. Will the YZZD3 oil filter for the V6 and V8 work in place of the YZZD1 on the 2009 4 cyl. Everything on the outside seems to be the same except length. I have a good supply of the D3 filters and would like to use them in place of the shorter D1 filter if possible. Thanks in advance. Charlie

The D3 will work just fine, have used it before.

Thanks everyone for the replies...used the longer filter and it worked fine...they were the same except for the length. I hated to have them and not use them. Charlie
