Can anyone provide the AMSoil part number for this filter?

The amsoil filters I bought were poor quality. I returned the six I bought as they all had something wrong them from rusty end caps, excess glue, loose threads, and torn filter material.

I run OEM or Denso aftermarket filters. The problem in this thread is a pricey boutique oil filter (Amsoil) claiming to be better could in fact be harmful in the Tacoma application.

Well shoot, I just ordered a bunch of Amsoil 75w-85 gl5 in the bags. Hopefully it's better quality than those oil filters. o_O

The gear oil in bags is great, needed the gear oil, didn't really need the filters but thought I'd give them a try as I already paid for the amsoil membership. You should have no problems with the oil and the bags make fluid change way easier than bottles and a pump or hoses.

Wow. Looks like a child's art project. So it's plain ol' Toyota filters for me.

I use the Amsoil oil change kit that includes their EA15K02-EA filter.
The Toyota YZZ filters are third party supplier made to OEM spec and are not OE. I'm not an expert on filters, I'm sure they're probably just as good and the truck doesn't care.

I found this posted in another thread somewhere, skip to 5:25.

^That was noticeable when engines had canister filters and you could see a different P/N on the canister. The paper cartridge element is difficult to distinguish once soaked in oil.

The Toyota OE/OEM oil filters are made by Denso. It's right on the metal can. I didn't buy the truck new so it's not cast in stone: but AFAIK: this was the filter that was on the engine (4.0L) when the truck left the assembly line. (i.e.:OE)

The Denso part number of their filter listed on their site is: 150-2010

I used trd filters exclusively but since they were discontinued I use the amsoil filter along with amsoil signature series oil.

Oh, my bad! I just figured out that this thread was an Amsoil commercial!

I thought Amsoil used multi-level marketing (MLM)?

LOL, this place is about as multi-level as it gets. As they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
