Changing oil, picked up Napa Gold #1348. Is not the same size as the Toyota filter that is on there now. Went back to the store and the guy cross referenced the number with the one on my Toyota filter, and it says it is the right one. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I actually can't for certain confirm it, but I can say that number sounds very familiar, and I just looked in my maintenance spreadsheet notes and saw I did my first oil change with a Napa filter and I also noted it was smaller than the OEM filter.

The Napa filter you have should work. It's a shorter version of the filter that came with your truck. If you want a taller filter try the Napa gold 1516 filter.
