    Hello Tacoma World!

NOOB here. I have a 2013 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4. I am very little mechanical experience but I plan on changing that.

I am going to change the oil in my transfer case and both differentials. I tow a couple of times a year. I have read a few threads and watched some vids on youtube but I am still unsure which oil I should use. I am a simple (minded) man looking for a simple answer. Please advise and thank you in advance.

I run 75-90 Valvoline gear oil in the diffs and transfer cases. I change it every 15K cause it's easy. Keep in mind it you have the limited slip rear diff you need to add limited slip diff adder.

Everyone will offer a magic elixir.

Truth is, any OTC lube of the correct weight and GL rating will be just fine.

Super Tech synthetic blend 75-90 for front diff and transfer case; Mobil1 full synthetic 75-90 in the rear. The rear does a lot of work; that should get best quality you can afford. Every time I change front and transfer case; it looks new - and I off-road, so I am extending those to 50K.
