I have been experiencing a small oil leak from the top of my passenger side head. it seems mainly centered around this sensor. Truck operates and drives fine, no codes, no suspicious noises.

as this oil accumulated it drips down onto the exhaust manifold, which is how i discovered it, due to the smoking/burnt oil smell.

    Truck is a 2017 with 110k miles.

That looks to be the high pressure fuel pump seal leaking.

The fuel pump has a plunger that contacts a lobe on the camshaft. There is a seal that keeps oil in the engine.

what is this line right here? is it some kind of breather?

or is that the fuel pick up, and high pressure output is in the back?

X2 on this... probably just a bad spacer seal underneath.
That one in particular is a fuel tube.

Just saw this, might have the same issue, also 2017. Wanted to know if the 2 seals was the solution, and if you don't mind mechanic cost to repair or did you do it yourself. Thanks

For me yes, the 2 seals was the solution. I would recommend going with Toyota OEM seals. Initially I replaced with parts store brand (duralast), and it still seeped out, though not as bad previously.

Have not had an issue since! Best of luck.
