Are there oil journals in the exhaust manifold gasket. I have an oil leak on the exhaust side of the engine. I replaced the valve cover gasket thinking that was it. The exhaust manifold is wet well above the head gasket . This is on an 05 Tacoma 2.7

I'm not familiar with the 2.7L but it could be something as simple as the oil pressure transducer. Mine leaked and it made a mess of the front of the engine, since that;s where it was located.

That's why you need too clean the motor FIRST,and then look for the leak,so you are not guessing.
