Please move if in the wrong area, but if anyone can help me out that’d be awesome. The problem isn’t actually my clutch, it’s brand new.. the problem is my dumbass got oil on the pulley/clutch plate on accident. Wondering if this is going to be an issue and if I should spray brake cleaner on it or not, or if I shouldn’t worry about it.

Just happened to me last weekend when I changed the oil on my daughter's truck. Just hose it down with brake cleaner and you'll be OK.

Thanks for the quick reply. Called my buddy’s shop and he said the same thing. Didn’t want to brake clean it and mess up the clutch material if it’s temperamental lol

Brake cleaner on a belt, not good. Broken belt later on.
I have no proof to back this up, it's just what I've always thought.
