So along with that up top I have a p42040 code I think which is catalyst deficiency below bank 1, I cleared it so I'm going off memory which I think it's a bad cat or o2 sensors which both were replaced at the same time mabye a year ago or its an exhaust leak . I seem to be losing some oil, I plan to do an oil change tomorrow to see how much I can get out of the Motor. But any way it seems that like second gear once I reach 4k rpms the high tone gets like ear piercing and sounds like something is rattling by the header. and then on the high end of 3rd after I high like 60mph it doesn't accelerated to 70 and 80 MPh like it used to, and it does sound like I might have a leak by the rear 02 that's making the code come on. I'm just more worried about why it sounds like uncomfortable and it's not getting enough power like it should. Will post a video on the sounds when I get a chance. Idk about the oil smell it seems like it's getting worse I'm just kinda clueless on it because it is not normal

I know it's really bad to rev it that high all the time and I'm not sure if it's lack of oil or when I put a new header on I have an exhaust leak right where the exhaust studs are cuz I didn't replace them and they were previously stretched and air is escaping.

This is a video of third the fourth the fifth gear I wasn't smashed on the throttle it didn't want to accelerate rpms just kinda went up

Alright well I fixed my mistake, had extra air sucking into intake after the afm. Everything seems to be back to normal. That code hasn't reappeared yet. I added an extra quart of oil a couple weeks ago and when I change my oil today I only got out Four Courts

Sounds like you have a couple problems, I would try to isolate them and deal with the easiest/most obvious one first.

Determine if you have an exhaust leak at the manifold. If you do, fix it. See if anything changes. A leak may be caused by a failed gasket, along with a broken or loose header stud that is rattling.

If it is burning oil, look at the spark plugs, if any of them have oil on them or are coated with heavy residue, you may have excessive blow-by. Do a compression check, should confirm this suspicion.

glad you solved it. What kind of gauge is that? I like the pitch and roll feature!

Edge insight, doesn't do much for the older style cause of the ecus but it's great cause I can look at other stuff and like corrected speed for having larger than stock tires and what the stock dash can't offer. You can buy different models of the edge for like newer vehicles with more advanced ecus and can like add tunes and such. It has like 0-60 and quarter mile timers and can read trouble codes on the fly which is mostly what I bought it for but they aren't cheap but like mine the insight will read so many different types of vehicle http://edgeproducts.com

I will definitely check my plugs again. Here is a picture of the old plugs I had in the truck no more than 2-3 couple months ago. It's weird cause I would get this rattle sometimes from my exhaust and I have had to tighten bolts from time to time around the cat and after the muffle ( it's a lce header exhaust and hi flow cat ) btw today it sounded like my cat was rattling from inside

So it's been how long almost a month? Well the code hasn't went away and I haven't really worked on that but my problem has come back for the time being. I'm like in 2 gear and I'm up to like 30 35 MPh and the rpms are up to 4k like the rpms get bigger quicker but I'm not going faster any quicker. It's weird I tightening everything up so no air leaks before the intake manifold. Maybe I didn't give the computer enough time to ret for fuel trims because I did have a leak that I thought was the problem this time because a hose clamp got loose had to replace it. Like in first gear I only get to around 15mph until the rpms are too high and I have to shift to 2nd

Could this be my clutch slipping?

Nobody??? Well I haven't lost any oil since I changed it about a month but pulling into a royal farms I was in second going pretty slow and as I pulled straight into a parking spot I put it into neutral and then my truck like started to buck and stalled? Started right back up and is idling a constant 700- 708 isn't rough and I didn't cause it to stall

Unless being in 2nd going very slow and putting it into neutral would cause the truck to stall
