20190505_124913.jpg I started my pickup today and oil was spraying everywhere. After maybe 30 seconds i shut it off and it had blown out nearly all the oil. I tried to put oil in and bump it to see where it is coming from but the fan blows it everywhere and i can't really tell where exactly it's coming from. Has anyone ever seen this before?

+1 Do not pressure wash. If you get water in the valley, you are screwed..

I only washed it after the floods... it's pretty dirty right now, but I'm too lazy to detail it again.

. I had that same problem actually and oil sprayed all over the hood. Was the front main seal right behind the harmonic balancer. The fan sprayed the oil everywhere.

This seems more extreme though since it’s even on the intake hose. Checkout the timing cover on the passenger side.

Somebody pressure washed this one before I got it. Reason unknown. I like to keep the valley dry.

The oil filter is on the other side on a V6.

If I had to guess I would say possibly the Oil Cooler or one of the hoses going to it has a hole.

The filter on the 1grfe is on the upper driver side, seems really unlikely given this pattern.
This seems more likely. Seems like near the bottom of the front of the block, blowing upward. Note how the coolant reservoir blocked a portion of direct upspray onto the hood.

It is possible that you are correct. Maybe sprayed from the filter seal hits the hood and goes down onto the passenger side of the engine...

    Hell it could be anything.

Yeah I just saw your post after I posted mine. Fan-blown air currents can be weird.

    Dang that sucks!

Take the belt off so the fan won't spin and run the engine.
